I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Limited License Psychologist with many years of experience in the mental health field. I graduated with a MA in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2007.
I have worked with a wide range of clients in a variety of treatment settings. My experiences have included working with adults involved in the criminal justice system, individuals diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness, and those struggling with substance use or co-occurring disorders. For 8 years, I provided a full scope of treatment services to adult males within the prison system, which included sex offender treatment. In addition to my clinical work, I also collaborate with local law enforcement to train first responders with the goal of improving interactions and outcomes when responding to behavioral health crises.
I have a strong interest in working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, and have spent most of my career providing an array of counseling services to those in prison or jail, as well as individuals involved in the court system.
