I have had a very long career as a Limited License Psychologist, beginning my graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy in Canada, my practicum here in Michigan and receiving my degree and license in 1979. My interests in psychology have taken me to many different treatment facilities and given me tremendous opportunity to work with all kinds of clients. My experience includes training in Trauma Resolution, Grieving (particularly parents who have lost children), Compulsive Overeating, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence and Criminal Sexual Behaviors.
I have conducted workshops in Women’s Issues, AIDS and Sex Education, Parenting Solutions for Children with ADHD, and Divorce Recovery among others. I am available to discuss the development of workshops appropriate for Faith-based communities also.
At this point in my career, I am focused on treating those with criminal sexual behaviors, providing assessments for the courts and for any referral source requiring a comprehensive assessment of needs and recommendations.
