Do you ever feel like life is too overwhelming and you wish you had the mental energy to be able to get through the day? Have you ever wished that you had more effective coping skills to get through a tough day, an overwhelming emotion, or a challenging relationship? Have you found yourself feeling overwhelmed with the day-to-day challenges of life during the pandemic? If you answered “Yes” to any of the above questions, you may benefit from a behavioral and skills-based perspective of therapy that can help with managing life in a different, more effective way.
I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2020 and have practiced in a community mental health clinic as well as a DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) clinic for the last year. I am enthusiastic about working with clients with a broad range of mental health conditions including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also have a passion for working with clients that identify within the LGBTQ+ community.
As a therapist, I believe that everyone is doing the best that they can with the skills they currently possess and can always benefit from personal growth to better manage the challenges life throws at us . Through this idea of dialectics, I work with clients to develop a broad range of skills that can improve their quality of life.
I am currently accepting clients!
