Your mind is a busy place. Sometimes it feels so overwhelming to be with your thoughts you wish you could trade places with a person you envision moving effortlessly through life, causally running errands, and going about their day; as if someone planned each step for that person but left you without directions. You may experience, racing thoughts, obsessions, intangible fear, worry, and doubt. You may feel the weight of the past, unable or reluctant to let go of shame and guilt at times to the point of punishing yourself. But you are here, there is hope, and you deserve peace.
In my practice I welcome you as you are. We will spend time exploring feelings, behaviors, and thought patterns to help you build your strengths and recognize your value.
My passion includes working with persons impacted by incarceration, substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress, homelessness, domestic violence, anxiety, and depression. I have experience working with adolescents and adults.
I provide LLMSW supervision.
